Explode The Code Book 8 introduces students to more complex morphemic units including suffixes and endings (such as -ness,-less, -ous, -or, -ist, -ity, -ture, -ment, -able, -ible, -sion/tion, -ance/ence, -tive/sive, -ify, -ize, and -ti/ci). Through a variety of pen-to-paper exercises, students will learn how to combine word parts to create multisyllabic words and increase their vocabulary by learning the meanings of common suffixes and endings.
